Daily Activity Small Talk between Two Friends


Speaking

A: Hey Ben, how's your day going?                                        

B: It's going pretty well. What about you?

A: I'm fine. I just finished my maths lesson and now I have a break before the next lesson.

B: Great, what did you do this morning before you came to school?

A: I got up early and went for a walk. It was a good way to start the day and get some physical activity.

B: That's great. I usually try to do some exercise in the morning too. I like to try to do some yoga or go for a walk.

A: Yes, that's a good way to start the day. What do you have plans for the rest of the day after school?

B: I have my English lesson later, and then I'm going to meet some friends to study for a test.

A: That sounds really busy. I have football practice after school, and then I'm going to work on a student project for one of my classes.

B: That's great. It's important to stay active and also keep up with our learning. Do you have any plans for the weekend?

A: Not yet, but I was thinking of going for a hike with my family. What about you?

B: I was thinking of going to the Museum with my family. We haven't been there for a long time and I love learning all about different things.

A: That sounds like a really a great idea. I hope you will have lots of fun.

B: I have to go now, Alex. See you later.

A: Good bye!

A: Hey Alex, how was your holiday?                                                  

B: It was great! I went to the beach with my family and we had a great fun. And how was it for you?

A: My holidays were also great. I went on a trip with my family and we visited lots of different places.

 B: That sounds great. I wish I could have gone on a trip like that. But now that the holidays are over, we're going back to school.

A: Yes, I know. It's always hard to get back into a regular routine after a long break. But I'm looking forward to seeing my friends and teachers again.

B: Me too. I've missed everyone. And I'm also looking forward to learning new things this term.

 A: Absolutely. And I have heard that our teachers have planned a lot of fun activities for us this year.

B: That's great to hear! I always like it when we have hands-on activities and students' projects. It makes learning more fun and interesting.

A: That's right. And it's also important to get involved in extracurricular activities and clubs. They can help us make new friends, develop new skills and have fun outside the classroom.

B: That's a good one. I am going to try to join a club this year. I think it's a good way to meet new people and try something new.

 A: That's a great idea. And it's never too late to start. We can support each other and try new things together.
