Necessities of Varieties of Teaching and Learning Modes

There are several reasons of necessities for involving trainees in a variety of teaching and learning modes.

       Firstly, it is evident that learning styles of trainees vary to a substantial extent. This phenomenon, should be reflected in teaching strategies.

       Secondly, trainees should be encouraged to experiment with a variety learning strategies.

       Thirdly, variety adds spice and stimulus to the learning process, and hence helps avoid boredom.

       Fourthly, excessive predictability in teaching situations leads to mechanical teaching. Therefore, variety makes teaching more interesting for the tutor.

       Fifthly, the tutor gets to know his/her trainees better, and is better able to evaluate them fairly by seeing them operate in a variety of learning situations.

Finally, it is evident that varied learning experiences are more appropriate to varied learning situations.
